Shell - thanks so much for the kind words. Having grown up a huge Amitabh fan in the late 70's & early 80's I just can't recommend his early movies enough. For those that grew up watching him in his 'goatee' stage and haven't seen the stuff that made him a legend I recommend checking some of the following out: Abhimaan, Sholay, Don, Muqaddar Ka Sikander & Deewaar. Many more of course but those are a good place to start ;)
Great retrospective! I need to seriously take in more of Amitabh's earlier movies. Plus, I've never seen Jaya so young. Wonderful post!
