Surprisingly my 3 favorite ones (including the Amrita Singh one) were the most predictable but I did not really mind as watching the stories being told with those actors were simply a joy to watch.

Kiran - netflix has it all my dear, just join the revolution :)

Nafisa - agree with you as I said above.

Trupti - thanks for reminding me about 'Ijaazat' as the only one I have seen with her is 'Utsav'. Add another film to my out of control Netflix list.

Bollywood Fan - The songs didn't make much of an impact on me at the time but listening to them again has given me fresh perspective on them. I was happy to see Bappi Lahiri doing music again but my favorite songs were the Shafqat Ali Khan ones (that he sang & provided music for). His father was an uncle as well as one of the first teachers of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.Sanket Vyashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00410998671085464946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368338.post-49370133843958938442008-04-23T22:43:00.000-05:002008-04-23T22:43:00.000-05:00What did you think of the soundtrack, doc? For anyone who hasn't yet checked it out, it is well worth a listen, especially if you're into poetry.theBollywoodFanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11296407098387050782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368338.post-59627486794553539552008-04-21T14:55:00.000-05:002008-04-21T14:55:00.000-05:00I loved 'pooranmasi' and lovedale...I guess I like...I loved 'pooranmasi' and lovedale...I guess I liked seeing Anuradha Patel after such a long while after Izzajat.......now, Izajjat is a lovely one to watch too.

truptiTShttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14550939425063803575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368338.post-45371662959719563542008-04-21T12:18:00.000-05:002008-04-21T12:18:00.000-05:00my fav was Rice plate as well! i liked pooranmasi ...my fav was Rice plate as well! i liked pooranmasi and zahir too...the others were okay.
NafisaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368338.post-54447512181255840582008-04-20T19:04:00.000-05:002008-04-20T19:04:00.000-05:00another reason to join netflix. thanks for the re...another reason to join netflix. thanks for the review, doc!Kirannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30368338.post-43846642112838870832008-04-20T16:58:00.000-05:002008-04-20T16:58:00.000-05:00I liked "Dus Kahaniyan'- though honestly the stori...I liked "Dus Kahaniyan'- though honestly the stories were all very predictable. Amrita Singh's story was my favorite; I disliked the one with Jimmy Shergil- very defeatist somehow...Shweta Mehrotra Gahlawathttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13543438271055378809noreply@blogger.com
